The Bricks Launches 2026 Partnership Campaign to Support Downtown Hays Year-Round
The Bricks in Downtown Hays is inviting businesses, individuals, and community supporters to invest in the future of Downtown Hays through its 2026 Partnership Campaign.
The Bricks Partnership is a mission-based annual investment designed to strengthen Downtown Hays year-round. Support from partners helps fund the people, programs, and systems that keep downtown vibrant, welcoming, and economically strong. The campaign supports year-round events and experiences, small business and entrepreneur support, beautification efforts, and the operations needed to sustain long-term impact.
“Downtown Hays is more than a collection of businesses and buildings — it is the heart of our community,” said Lee Ann June, Executive Director of The Bricks in Downtown Hays. “Partnership is how we invest in both the behind-the-scenes work and the experiences people see every day. It helps us continue building a downtown that is active, resilient, and meaningful for the entire community.”
Partnership opportunities begin at $100, with levels including Community Supporter, Downtown Investor, Vision Partner, Community Champion, and Legacy Builder. The campaign also welcomes in-kind support and volunteer involvement as important ways to strengthen the mission. Recognition opportunities increase by level and may include newsletter recognition, window clings, story highlights, website listing, event banner recognition, and complimentary event tickets.
Campaign materials also highlight the impact The Bricks made in 2025, including support for community events, Downtown Hays Market activity, business support, and volunteer engagement. In 2025, 80 individuals and businesses supported the Partnership Campaign, 37 made first-time gifts, 32 volunteers supported board committees, events, and ongoing downtown work, and 1,420 volunteer hours were contributed.
“We have big goals for partnership this year,” said June. “With new projects on the horizon, we hope to see even more people investing in The Bricks and in the future of Downtown Hays.”
